Well, I have taken about two months off from writing as I have taken the whole retirement, vacation, broken ankle, thing to the extreme and actually did not much of anything. One would think when my ankle was "resting' that it would have been easy to write, yet ironically enough it was difficult to sit and write as my ankle would swell. Once I got released from that, it was time to test the ankle in Scottsdale with a golf vacation of sorts. Thank goodness for the use of Advil and the vodka martini as these performance enhancing drugs made the test tolerable, and fun! I was also able to check off one item off my bucket list though.... as I did not shave the entire two weeks. Given I have always been in business in some fashion this was the most time away from the razor I had ever taken with the previous length to have been less than a a week. Come to think of it, it is the third two week vacation period since 1983 when getting into the insurance industry. While not certain, this may have to be footnoted though since I am not sure it can be called a vacation if you are already at least quasi retired....
Now it is time to get back into the swing (pun intended with another golf season eminent) with my blog though as there are people to thank, many of whom were instrumental in enabling me to actually retire before I was too old to remember peoples names who needed to be thanked! Next month I will begin again toward the end of my golf business experience.
Let me know your thoughts. Until next time...
